AI Document Review Is Now Live on Attested

Attested now includes AI-powered document review. Upload any PDF or image, click Review, and get a structured analysis in 10 to 30 seconds.

What's new

Every file in your Attested dashboard now has a Review button. Click it, and AI analyzes the document and returns:

• Summary — A concise overview of the document's contents and significance
• Key facts — The material facts extracted from the document
• Entity extraction — People, organizations, dates, monetary amounts, and locations identified in the text
• Timeline — Key events arranged chronologically
• Privilege and PII flags — Potential attorney-client privilege issues and personally identifiable information flagged for review
• Suggested deposition questions — Questions generated from the document's content for use in witness examination

Specialized analysis by document type

The system automatically detects the document type and selects the appropriate analysis. You don't choose the category — it identifies it for you.

• Medical records get specialized extraction: diagnoses, treating physicians, medications, procedures, and treatment timelines
• Deposition transcripts get contradiction analysis, key admissions with page references, and areas where testimony conflicts with other evidence
• Contracts and agreements get clause-level analysis with obligation tracking and deadline extraction
• General documents get the standard analysis suite described above

How it works

1. Click Review on any file in your dashboard
2. The system classifies the document and selects the appropriate analysis prompt
3. Results appear in a slide-out panel in approximately 10 to 30 seconds
4. Results are cached — you only run (and pay for) each review once
5. Review results are timestamped and included in your FRE 902(13) certificates as part of the documented processing record

The AI analysis is logged as part of the asset's processing history. When you generate an FRE 902(13) certificate, the review timestamp and the fact that AI analysis was performed are included in the certificate's documentation of the system's process.

What it's not

AI document review on Attested is a single-document analysis tool. It is not e-discovery. It is not corpus-wide search. It is not a replacement for attorney judgment.

• AI review extracts facts and entities to save time. Always verify the analysis before relying on it in any proceeding.
• Medical record extraction identifies clinical information from the document. It is not a medical opinion and should not be treated as one.
• Privilege flags are informational. They identify language patterns that may indicate privileged communications. They are not determinative and do not constitute a privilege review.
• Suggested deposition questions are starting points. Attorney judgment determines which questions are appropriate for a specific witness and proceeding.

Pricing

AI document review is available on Professional and Enterprise plans.

• Professional — 50 reviews per month included. Additional reviews at $0.10 each.
• Enterprise — 250 reviews per month included. Additional reviews at $0.05 each.
• Essential — AI review is not available on the Essential plan. Upgrade to Professional to access this feature.

Each review is counted once per file. Re-opening a cached review does not count against your monthly allocation.
